From Army boots to boardrooms… from car lots to cash flowing self storage deals… I’ve lived the path I now teach.
 

For 14 years, I worked in the car business. I started in sales and worked my way up to General Sales Manager.
 

On paper, it looked like I was winning.
 

But behind the scenes, I was trading time for money.
 

Long hours. Late nights. Always on.
 

I was missing dinners. Missing games. Missing moments that actually mattered.
 

That’s when it hit me.
 

I wasn’t building a life… I was just surviving one.
 

I didn’t want to be the dad who was always “too busy.”

I didn’t want to keep saying “someday” to the people I cared about most.
 

So I made a decision.
 

Something had to change.

 

🟢 The Self Storage Shift

 

In 2019, I came across self storage investing.

 

At first it was just curiosity.

 

Then it turned into obsession.

 

And eventually, it became the path that changed everything.

 

Over the next six years, I acquired 14 facilities across the country.

 

But the real win was not the deals.

 

It was what those deals gave me.

 

Time.

Freedom.

The ability to be present for my family.

 

And here’s the truth…

 

I did not figure it out on my own.
